Gullfoss - Iceland's two-tier "golden falls"

This is Gullfoss "Golden falls", a spectaclar two-tier waterfall found in Iceland's "golden circle" route. It's situated in the Þingvellir national park, about an hour outside the nation's capital, Reykjavik.

Both tiers drop at right angles to each other, with the upper tier dropping about 11m while the lower tier drops 21m. Mist wafts up from the lower tier due to the quantity of falling water, and with a little bit of sunshine, this permanent rainbow appears, which is evident in this picture.I haven't used any effects on this picture taken on my iphone.
